Facilities Available

To cater to the needs of the Student Teachers and Faculty, the College has the following facilities:

  • Wi-Fi Campus

Wi-Fi Internet (Optic Fiber) Connectivity with a capacity of 300 Mbps to facilitate networking, vital for sustaining academic activities, is in place.

  • Smart Classrooms

All Classrooms have been upgraded to Smart Classrooms since Feb 2023.

  • Blended Mode of Course Transaction

Course transaction is carried out in a Blended Mode-Face to Face and Online.

  • ICT laboratory

An ICT laboratory with ten (10) networked computers and Internet accessibility is available for use of Student Teachers. Two (2) Smart Classrooms have been added in the last Academic year.

  • First Aid

Medications for treating minor trauma and alleviation of minor symptomatic pain and allergy, sphygmomanometer and stethoscope to monitor blood pressure and free sanitary pads are available in the College First Aid facility.

  • College Bus

The College provides a bus, pressed into regular service, to commute students between the town and College on payment of a nominal fee.

  • Reprographic Facility

The College has 4 photocopying machines and a document scanner for reprographic purposes, with one dedicated for use of Student Teachers on minimal charges, and attended to, by a staff member.

  • CCTV Surveillance

CCTV Surveillance facility has been installed in the campus for security purpose.

  • Seminar Room

The College has a Seminar room equipped with a Conference Table and LCD Projection facility.

  • Drinking Water facility

Two (2) Aqua drinking water facilities are installed for providing safe drinking water.

  • Canteen

The College has a canteen which serves hygienic food under reasonable prices.

  • Library

The College has an Automated Library managed by a Librarian,  that runs on an Open Access System. It has a collection of over 1570 Books with 700 Titles, Reference Books (Encyclopedias, Dictionaries, etc.) and several journals (including E-journals). Reprographic service of library materials can also be availed. Students are required to take note of the rules and regulations regarding the use of the College Library to ensure a peaceful atmosphere of study. Upgradation of the Library is underway.

  • Horticulture Project

As a part of the Rashtriya Ucchattar Shiksha Abhiyan (RUSA) Phase-1, Project on Vocationalisation of Higher Education, the College has developed a well irrigated Farm land for growing a variety of vegetables and fruits. The farm is managed jointly by the student teachers opting for the paper on Fundamentals of Horticulture and Crop Production, and the College. The products of the farm are sent for sale to the market, through which income is generated. Under the same Project, two (2) water reservoir of 12,000 liter and 20,000 liter capacities have been constructed, for tapping water sourced from natural springs and ponds in the Campus. The water so tapped is used for irrigating the farm land, use in the College, and sale to the local populace of the town.

  • Uninterrupted Power Back-up

The College has an Uninterrupted Power Back-up supported by two (2) Generators and four (4) Invertor sets, that ensure continuous power supply to all essential facilities of the campus.
